Winter Wonderland

Woah, you want me to write a story about winter? Well let me tell you something about winter missy, it ain't a fun season. We used to frolic through the winter snow when we were kids. What were we thinking. Wednesday was the day, I believe. Whales everywhere! Where was I, ahh yes, Wednesday. This is getting really hard and I'm running out of words here. The story goes that my sister got pnemonia and we barley went out and played in the snow after that because we were scared of getting sick. There is NO way to express our sorrow with "w"s it just can't be done. W is certainly not a powerful enough letter. "T" might be able to pull it off, maybe even "F", but "W" certainly doesn't have what it takes to describe such a powerful scene.

Obviously if a dog could give advice, he would tell me to buy a pizza and pay with snakes.

Trademarks

If there is one aspect of my personality that precedes my presence then it must be my sarcasm. I am rarely serious about anything in conversation and normally only "get down to business" when writing. I don't know why or when I started to be so sarcastic but it's become integral to my personality. I find the humor funny and I don't see the need to be serious with people in conversation, at least not most people. Most people don't seem to know how to have a serious conversation correctly and I got sick of wasting my time being serious when it didn't seem to get me anywhere. With my very close friends I have serious conversations and they've become my close friends for that very reason. Sarcasm allows me to differ people away from ranting which is a major plus. It's a big part of who I am.

Ugly words

I awoke to realize that someone had committed suicide. They blamed it on me and I got a subpoena. I begin to tear out my visceral eyes one by one then two by two. Continuing and then giving pause for rhetoric which was given at the cemetery. Walking through each section I tripped and fell in front of my grave which read "Here lie the ugly words." I never went back.

Horrible Ideas

Here are some horrible ideas....

1.)Give yourself a homemade tattoo with a toxic silver pen
2.) Boil water and spill it on yourself
3.) Bash your head with a hammer
4.) Anger a cannibal
5.) Have your best friend run over you with a steam roller
6.) Swallow vanilla bath beads
7.) Lodge your head into a toilet bowl
8.) Piss off O.j Simpson
9.) Spray a bottle of air freshener up your nose
10.) Get run over by an ostrich

The possibilities are pretty up in the air right now as to what could happen in the next twelve months for me. If the Navy is willing to offer me the scholarship that I applied for, then I could be going to college and then spending 4 years in the navy. If I get accepted to Vanderbilt then I could be living in Nashville. If I get accepted to Kenyon then I could be living in Gambier, OH. College is the central focus for the next year and more importantly paying for it. I could spend my summer in Vietnam on a cruise ship or I could spend it taking road trips with friends and spending time in Louisville with the ladies. I'm not sure how relationships will work with friends who aren't going to live anywhere near me but I'm no optimist and I expect them to deteriorate. I have all the hope in the world that I'll make new friends but I'll certainly miss the ones I'm spending time with currently.

Curses

My mind has never been made up on supernatural events. At times I feel like there is an undeniable amount of evidence in it's favor and at other times I feel like it's just a self-perpetuating hoax. Although the Macbeth curse seems to have a great deal of evidence behind it, it could all be negligible upon further examination. A part of me really wants to believe in the supernatural but at the same time I feel I need to stop myself from being foolish. If I knew of a place that was haunted around here, I would go to it and attempt to have an experience. No matter what happens I could never be certain. It's an example of a time when you can't truly trust yourself. Your senses can play tricks on you in a high stress situation of that nature. I've always wanted to be a part of a production of Macbeth but I don't think I'll be a part of one anytime soon. As much as I might not believe it, there's no point in jeopardizing my chances.

The year past

Looking back on 2009 I feel contempt and excitement. Contempt for the childish way I acted and excitement for the way I plan to change for the new year. After attending GSA over the summer I felt like a hugely changed person. Being in that kind of community and then being torn from it back into the real world was like getting slapped upside the face with lackluster. My life felt empty and cold outside of that community and looking back on it to this day leaves me wanting. After a long stay in my room alone following the weeks I spent at GSA, I decided to reform many things in my life. A few months after that I got a steady job, I started working towards college, and now I'm facing the new year. All of the changes I plan to make are under way and I feel like this may be one of the best years of my life.
